“Ombre” si situa in un percorso di sperimentazione, di dialogo tra arte visiva e arte sonora. Ricerca di materiali e temi da plasmare per creare nuove esperienze materiche e sonore. La struttura di partenza si intreccia all’improvvisazione; immagine e suono diventano un unicum inscindibile. Osservare il quadro offre la chiave di accesso per capire la musica che ne accompagna la visione.

Spesso nella storia della musica l’idea dell’ombra è stata associata agli inferi, ai fantasmi, all’ignoto e i suoni gravi, caldi, le scale discendenti e le tonalità con i bemolli sono stati la sua trasposizione musicale. Elaborando questa eredità artistica l’abbiamo intrecciata al nostro presente: un quadro diviso in tre parti, l’utilizzo di colori caldi, la specularità delle figure e i grovigli creati dall’ombra. Un’ombra che a volte mette in luce e a volte nasconde una fitta trama di emozioni.


“Ombre” (Shadows) is part of a path of experimentation and dialogue between visual art and sound art. Materials and themes have been molded to create new material and sound experiences. The starting structure is intertwined with improvisation; image and sound become inseparable. Observing the picture offers the access key to understand the music that accompanies the vision.

In the history of music, the idea of the shadow has often been connected to the underworld, to the ghosts, the unknown and the warm sounds. The descending scales and the flat tonalities have been its musical transposition. We have elaborated this artistic heritage and have intertwined it with our present: a picture divided into three parts, the use of warm colors, the specular figures and the tangles created by the shadow. A shadow that sometimes highlights and sometimes hides a dense network of emotions.
